Technology Geek...well...so much always to learn but I love it!

Educator, gamer, traveler, information literacy advocate...

My educational background is quite eclectic. I received my Master's of Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia, Canada. I hold a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina, USA; a Master's in Spanish from the University of Virginia, USA;  and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Mary Washington College, US.

I am originally from Virginia; during my teaching career I have taught in Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina. While most of my instructional experience has been with K-12 students, I have also taught adults in a variety of settings from college to free English as a Second Language classes. I have immensely enjoyed each educational experience, as each one has afforded me a learning opportunity. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my fields of interest and I am dedicated to best practice education. I am enthralled with technology integration and the opportunities it affords us to reach people in a variety of ways and in multiple settings.

I now serve as the school library media specialist at Oakdale STEAM Elementary School in Rock Hill, SC.
